Life's lessons seem to get more expensive the older you become; we have learned these lessons early in our career. In time we have learned not to paint in the rain or in the extreme heat. Some paint materials just do not mix with others and some are quite dangerous. It is still best not to walk under ladders and keep the tools picked up and put away.
It is about the people you daily surround yourself with and distance yourself from the stupid ones. (It's OK to laugh!) Craftsmen have to have it done a certain way with little exception. Fix bids are based upon time limits, while time and material projects still take time. We can not control everything but we still get most projects complete in a week. Goodwill is still a two-way street; we still collect a deposit before starting a job.
Safety must be first and foremost in everyone’s minds. Quality equipment and materials deliver the best end results. Environmental and hazardous exposures are best addressed before they become a problem.
Customer service is more about attitude than training sometimes. We put our best foot forward and it is met with a hardy "Thanks". We like what we do and it shows!
